About the Workshop

In this three-day workshop, we’ll be building a small structure: a Well House.

This is an actual well house that houses the mechanics for the well located on the property. But this isn’t just any structure, this Well House also symbolizes wellness and sustainability, as we incorporate reclaimed and natural materials into the build. As we work together, we will also create space for wellness practices, with the aim of fostering a harmonious balance with the earth and our personal well-being.

This is the first in a series of workshops, so if you’ve ever wanted to learn the basics of frame construction or feel more confident using tools, this is the perfect opportunity.

Meet Your Instructors

Alice and Denise met 20 years ago at the Solar Living Institute (SLI) in Northern California (accurately described as hippy camp). The SLI was a 12 acre permaculture site where they were both interns, learning about sustainable technologies. They are excited to collaborate after 20 years and are both still passionate about natural building.
